About the author:

Carl H. Miller grew up in the small town of Plankinton, South Dakota, in a family of four boys. He and his wife, Mere Lyn, have two children, David and Becky. He graduated from Augustana College, Sioux fall, South Dakota, with a BlA. Degree, Concordia Theological Seminary, Springfield, Illinois, with a M.Div. Degree, and from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, Illinois, with a M.S.Ed. Degree. He is Senior Chaplain at Tamms Correctional Center, Tamms, Illinois, a marriage and family therapist, and pastor at St. Luke Lutheran Church, Olmstead, Illinois. He produced an audio album and conducts seminars, both entitled: Healing the Wounded Heart--A Quiet Place. He also does motivational seminars, Building Up People.
