About the author:

Jermaine Aaron immigrated to the United States from Guyana, South America, in 1994, and graduated from Georgia State University with a bachelor's degree in mathematics education. He began teaching in DeKalb County, Georgia, in 2002; during his five years of teaching, he has worked with students of international backgrounds and been involved in training and improvement courses, making him aware of the need for a change in the population's mindset.

His participation in the Southwest DeKalb High School NJROTC program and the 100 Black Men of DeKalb has helped him understand the role of positive influence in people's lives. Under the leadership of Dr. Mason and Pastor Twyla Betha of S.A.N.E. Church International, he was empowered to focus his talent in writing to express what he believes in necessary for a peaceful and joyous commute on our nation's highways.

Aaron resides in Stone Mountain, Georgia, enjoys praise and worship, studying significant historical figures and events, bicycle riding, NASCAR, exotic car racings, and extreme bicycle sports.
