Richard G. Clemems, a Chicago native, is a retired senior partner of Sidley Austin LLP, a major international law firm. In 2007 he became a Fellow of the Center on Federal Financial Institutions, a nonpartisan Public policy institute based in Washington, D.C., which focuses o the federal government's lending and insurance activities. He is a 1965 graduate of the University of Virginia Law School.
