What Do You Call It When Times Are Bad? (Video)

The economic conditions that we are facing today is a part of a continuing cycle that has driven local and global marketplaces since man began trading with each other. The buying and selling of goods and service can produce periods of economic stagnation, inflation, deflation, recession, depression, and everything in between.

Polititians and political parties don't like it when the economy goes into a recession during their terms in office because it makes them look politically weak and unable to keep the economy strong and properous. They don't want to take the blame for bad economic times so they try to appease the public by staying away from words such as recession or depression.
