Installing A Roof

When it comes to food and fuel, prices, they're going through the roof. But what about the roof itself? There the news might be a little better.

Most homeowners are saving money by cutting back on the amount of home improvements that they are making and many are doing repairs and improvements themselves, which is bad news for many contractors who are alreading hurting from the downturn in the economy.

But putting on a roof is a project that many do-it-yourselfers don't want to tackle, so they hire a contractor to do it. Remember, any time you hire a contractor, make sure that he is licensed, check his references, take a look at his other jobs, get at least three estimates, and never pay for the entire job up front.
