Eligibility Requirements: Applicant must be a U. S. citizenor permanent resident residing and attending high school inAlaska. The applicant must also be sponsored by an American Legion post and participate in local speech contests. Ask about other scholarships offered by the American Legion.

American Indian and Alaska native students seeking an
under-graduate or graduate education in the health care field. Must be a member of a federally recognized tribe and serve one year in an IHS facility or other program serving Indian people for each year of financial support.
