Robert C. Byrd Honor Scholarship
Type of award: Scholarship
Intended use: For full-time undergraduate or graduate study at accredited 2-year or 4-year institution in the United States.
Eligibility: Applicant must be high school senior. Applicant must be U.S. citizen or permanent resident residing in Iowa.
Application requirements: recommendations, essay, transcript, proof of eligibility, AP scores
Additional information: Eligible applicants must have completed three years of social studies, math (beyond general math and pre-Algebra) and science (beyond general science), two years of the same foreign language, and four years of English. Must have minimum 28 ACT or 1860 SAT, and 3.5 GPA.

Intended use: For undergraduate study at accredited postsecondary institution in the United States. Designated institutions: Iowa colleges and universities.
Eligibility: Applicant must be high school senior. Applicant must be U.S. citizen residing in Iowa
Application requirements: recommendations, essay, proof of involvement in Iowa State Fair.
Additional information: Must be graduating senior from Iowa state high school who has been actively involved with the Iowa State Fair.

Harriet Hoffman Memorial Scholarship
Type of award: Scholarship
Intended use: For undergraduate study at accredited postsecondary institution in the United States. Designated institutions: Eligible Iowa postsecondary institutions.
Eligibility: Applicant must be residing in Iowa. Must be veteran or descendant of veteran; or a depenent of veteran or deceased veteran; or spouse of veteran or deceased veteran.
Application requirements: Proof of eligibility, essay, transcript, photo of self.
Additional information: Must have major career interest in education or teacher.

American Legion Iowa Oratorical Contest
