Eligibility Requirements: Must be residing in Maine. Applicant must be high school senior. Applicant or parent must be member/participant of American Legion.
Additional information: High school seniors, college students and veterans eligible.

Maine Veterans Services Dependents Educational Benefits
Type of award: Scholarship
Intended use: For undergraduate study at vocational, 2-year or 4-year institution.
Eligibility Requirements: Must be residing in Maine. Applicant must be at least 16 years old and no older than 24. Application requirements: Proof of eligibility, Proof of veteran's disability, Spouse must provide marriage certificate.
Additional information: Applicant must have graduated from high school and must be dependent of deceased or permanently and totally disabled veteran. Parent or spouse must have been resident of Maine prior to enlistment or resident of Maine for five years preceding application for aid.
