Minnesota Achievement Scholarship
Type of award: Scholarship
Intended use: For undergraduate study at accredited postsecondary institution.
Eligibility requirements: Applicant must be U.S. citizen residing in Minnesota.
Application requirements: Transcript. FAFSA. Parents adjusted gross income must be less than $75,000 for the academic year during scholarship year requested.
Additional information: Applicant must have graduated from Minnesota high school after January 1, 2008.

Type of award: Scholarship
Intended use: For undergraduate study at accredited vocational, 2-year or 4-year institution. Designated institutions: Minnesota colleges and universities and institutions in neighboring states with reciprocating agreement.
Eligibility requirements: Applicant or parent must be member/participant of American Legion. applicant must be U.S. citizen residing in Minnesota. Applicant must be veteran or descendant of veteran; or dependent of veteran.
Application requirements: Recommendations, essay, transcript, proof of eligibility.

This award is for college juniors and seniors attending agricultural colleges of selected universities. The student must be enrolled in courses on cooperative principles and business practices. Applicants must be enrolled full-time at a four-year university.
American Legion Minnesota Oratorical Contest
Type of award: Scholarship
Intended use: For undergraduate study at accredited postsecondary institution.
Eligibility Requirements: Must be enrolled in high school. Must be U.S. citizen residing or permanent resident residing in Minnesota. Additional information: Competition/talent/interest in oratory/debate, based on language style, voice, diction, delivery, originality, ogic, breadth of knowledge, application of knowledge about topic, and skill in selecting examples and analogies. Amount of award: $500-$1,200

Midwest Student Exchange Program
Type of award: Scholarship, renewable
Intended use: For full-time undergraduate, master's, doctoral or firs professional study at accredited 2-year, 4-year or graduate institution in the United States. Disignated participating instutions in Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Michigan, Kansas, Indiana, North Dakota, and Wisconsin residents attending participating out-of-state institutions inone of six othr states in designated institutions or programs of study.
Eligibility requirements: Must be residing in Minnesota, Michigan, Wisconsin, Kansas, Indiana, Nebraska, Illinois, Missouri or North Dakota.
