Type of award: Scholarship
Intended use: For undergraduate study at 2-year or 4-year institution.
Eligibility: Applicant or parent must be member/participant of american Legion Auxiliary. Applicant must be residing in Ohio. Applicant must be descendant of veteran or dependent of veteran, or spouse of veteran
Additional Information: Major/career interest in nursing.

Harold K. Douthit Scholarship
Type of award: Scholarship
Intended use: For sophomore, junior or senior study at designated Ohio institutions.
Eligibility: Applicant must be U.S. citizen residing in Ohio. Applicant must have minimum 3.0 GPA.
Application requirements: Essay, transcript. Two letters of recommendation from faculty members
Additional information: Applicant must be resident of one of the following Ohio counties: Cuyahoga, Lorain, Huron, Erie, Wood, Geauga, Sandusky, Ottawa, or Lucus.

Additional Information:Applicant must be descendant of veteran or dependent of veteran or deceased veteran during Grenada conflict, Korean War, Lebanon conflict, Persian Gulf War, WWI, WWII, or Vietnatm.

This program is open to student members of the association who have an intended mojor in metallurgy or materials science engineering. Applicant must have completed at least 1 year of college. Financial need is not considered.
National Junior Classical League Scholarships

Eligibility Requirements: Open to current members of the league who are high school seniors planning to enter college in the upcoming academic year to study classics. Special consideration for those who plan on teaching Latin, Greek, or the classical humanities. Selection is based on financial need.

Additional Information: Competition/talent/interest in oratory/debate, based on language style, voice, diction, delivery, originality, logic, breadth of knowledge, application of knowledge about topic, and skill in selecting examples and analogies.
