Intended use: For undergraduate or graduate study at accredited 2-year or 4-year institution.
Eligibility Requirements: Award for Oklahoma outstanding
high school graduate who agree
to teach in shortage areas.
Applicant must be a high school
senior planning to enroll full or
part time at a two year or four year
institution or university. Must be
an Oklahoma resident and attend
college or university in Oklahoma.
Application requirements: Essay, transcript, proof of eligibility, nomination by college. SAT/ACT scores.

Robert C. Byrd Honors Scholarship Program
Type of award: Scholarship
Intended use: For full-time undergraduate study at postsecondary institution.
Eligibility Requirements:
Scholarship for full time under-
graduate study at a postsecondary
college or university. Applicant
must be a high school senior, a
U.S. citizen or permanent resident
residing in Oklahoma.
Application requirements: Recommendations, essay, transcript.
Additional information: Students receive award for first year of study at eligible postsecondary institutions. Scholarships renewable up to three additional years of study provided students contiue to meet eligibility requirements as defined by the institution they are attending.
Amount of award: Varies based on funding

Intended use: For undergraduate study at accredited 4-year institution in United States. Designated institution: Oklahoma Christian University of Science & Arts, Oklahoma State University, University of Oklahoma, University of Central Oklahoma, Oral Roberts University, University of Tulsa.
Eligibility Requirements: Renewable scholarship for
Undergraduate study at accredited
four year college or university in
Oklahoma. Applicant must be
a high school citizen, a U.S citizen
and an Oklahoma resident residing
in Oklahoma. Must have a career
interest in engineering.
Additional information: Minimum 3.0 GPA, ACT composite score of 24-29, and ACT Math component score of 28 or above.

Scholarships are awarded to Native American students attending an accredited institution on a full-time basis. Preference will be given to applicants of Osage decent who are Roman Catholic. Scholarship for use in any year.
