American Legion Rhode Island Oratorical Contest
Type of award: Scholarship
Eligibility: Applican must be enrolled in high school. Applicant must be U.S. citizen or permanent resident residing in Rhode Island.
Additional information: Competition/talent/interest in oratory/debate, based on language style, voice, diction, delivery, originality, logic, breadth of knowledge, application of knowledge about topic, and skill in selecting examples and anologies.

Intended use: For full-time undergraduate study at accredited 4-year institution in United States or Canada
Eligibility: Applicant must be high school senior. Applicant must be Italian. Applicant must be residing in Rhode Island, Vermont, New York, Maine, Delaware, Massachusetts, District of Columbia, Connecticut, New Hampshire, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania.
Application requirements: $25 application fee, Interview, recommendations, essay, transcript. Applicant must present parent/guardian's most recent state and federal income tax returns, family tree.
Additional information: Applicant must have minimum 3.25 GPA.
