Type of award: Scholarship
Intended use: For undergraduate study at accredited postsecondary institution. Designated institutions: Institutions approved for federal Title IV funding.
Eligibility: Applicant must be visually impaired, hearing impaired, physically challenged or learning disabled. applicant must be U.S. citizen or permanent resident residing in Vermont.
Application requirements: Recommendations, essay, proof of eligibility.
Additional information: Number of awards varies.

Vermont Incentive Program
Type of award: Scholarship
Intended use: For full-time undergraduate study in the United States.
Eligibility Requirements: Applicant must be a
U.S. citizen or permanent resident
residing in Virginia.
Application requirements: Proof of eligibility, FAFSA.
Additional information: Applicant must not yet have bachelor's degree. Vermont residents who attend Vermont College of Medicine or who are enrolled in Doctor of Veterinary Science program also eligible.

Eligibility: Applicant must be high school senior. applicant must be U.S. citizen or permanent resident residing in Vermont.

Additional information: Applicant must be senior at Vermont secondary school; senior from adjacent state whose parents are legal Vermont residents; or senior from adjacent state attending Vermont school.

Dr. James L. Lawson Memorial Scholarship Type of award: Scholarship
Intended use: For undergraduate or graduate study at accredited 4-year or graduate institution in United States. Designated institutions: Any institution in New England or New York. Eligibility: Applicant must be residing in Vermont, Connecticut, New York, New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts or Rhode Island.
Application requirements: Transcript.
Additional information: Applicant must be amateur radio operator holding general class license or higher. Major may be in other fields related to those listed. High school senior eligible to apply.

Additional information: Applicant must be under custody of Vermont Commissioner of the Department for Children and Families(DCF) through eighteenth birthday or be adopted after age 16.
