The Queen Mary

The Queen Mary has been permanently berthed in the city of Long Beach,
California since 1967, serving as a hotel, museum, and tourist attraction.
Built by John Brown and Company of Clydebank, Scotland, the Queen Mary
sailed the North Atlantic from 1936, making trips from
Liverpool, England to New York City, until she was retired
from service in 1967. The ship is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
