The Villa Riviera
Long Beach, California

The Villa Riviera overlooks downtown Long Beach, California. The French and Italian
Renaissance Gothic inspired building is 16 stories high with a steeply pitched 30 foot high
copper roof and a 60 foot tower. Decorative gargoyles are strategically placed
around the roof as if to look out over the city. It also has
a 60-foot tower. With it's
green roof and tower, the Villa Riviera has been an integral part
of the Long Beach
skyline
since it was built in 1928 by architect Richard D. King. The Villa sits
on prime ocean front real estate with access to one of the most beautiful beaches in
Southern California. It's Gothic appeal, especially it's green facade, attracts the
attention of travelers and vacationers
from around the world. Although it was initially
built as a high end apartment co-op, it has been converted to a high end,
highly desirable condominium complex, offering stunning panoramic views
from Catalina Island, the Pacific Ocean, and the city of Los Angeles.
